Free Press Publishing can assist with all aspects of your direct mail needs.  Creation, list acquisition, fulfillment, you never have to touch a single piece of mail!  There are three basic types of direct mail:

Co-Op Mail
This is an economical way to reach a large general audience.  Co-Op mail can be targeted locally, regionally or nationally.  As a rule, co-op mail is sent out as a saturation mailing to all households in a specific neighborhood, city or state.  All of the participating businesses share the cost of printing and postage.  To see an example of a co-op mail piece, click on the publications button above.  The Brown/Clermont County Edition of the County Free Press is saturation mailed to 17,000 households in Brown & Clermont Counties of Ohio.  By working together, these businesses are able to send a full page color ad to every household for less than $500.  The postage alone would cost a solo mailer nearly $2000.
Co-Op mail can be done anywhere, anytime.  It can be a great tool for business associations or Chambers of Commerce to assist members in advertising.  For help with starting a co-op mailer in your area, please email coop@countyfreepress.com today.

Solo Mail
Solo mail can be more directly targeted to your customer demographics.  Age, sex, location, hobbies, employment, and credit status are just a few of the demographic criteria that can be applied to your mailing list so that you send only to your "best customer" targets.  You can also use internal customer mailing lists for solo mail.  Another advantage to solo mail is that you are not competing with other ads for the readers attention.  You get all of the attention, but you also pay all printing and mailing costs.  Most small and medium sized business approach solo mail on a neighborhood level to keep costs within reach.

Inserts
Inserts are a blend of solo mail and co-op mail.  They are individual pieces that can be any size from postcard to full page or even multi-page flyers.  These pieces are then inserted (hence the name) into larger publications like magazines, newsletters, newspapers or co-op mailers.  You can save a considerable amount on postage, but you bear the full price of printing.
